Retirement, Emeritus/Emerita Status

Retired faculty members are encouraged to continue to be involved in the institute’s intellectual and cultural life. After retirement, faculty and staff will be provided with retiree ID cards, which enable retired faculty and staff to take advantage of many of the privileges available as active employees.
 The opportunities available to retired faculty may include:

• Temporary employment

• Library privileges

• Computing services

Additional opportunities may be available to retired faculty to whom the Institute award emeritus/emerita status.
