This course seeks to empower students with the intellectual tools of logic and the reflective habits of critical thinking. Its objectives are to help learners understand the principles of valid reasoning ,identify fallacies and biases , and apply logicals frameworks to philosophical and practical problems. The curriculum unfold across five modules; (I) Introduction to Logic and the nature of reasoning ; (II) Deductive Logic -formal validity and symbolic representation ;(III) Inductive Logic -probability, inference and scientific reasoning; (IV) Informal Logic -fallacies , persuasion, and bias detection; and (V) Critical Thinking in Practice -ethics ,political, and media reasoning . By the end of the course, students will not only masters the structure of sound argumentation but also embody the spirit of rational inquiry that defines philosophical thought itself.
